    Crème Anglaise Healthy Recipe

    Crème Anglaise

    (Serves 4)

    Ingredients:
    • 4 egg yolks
      12 fl oz milk
      2 tbsp sugar
      ½ tsp vanilla
    Method:

    Whisk egg yolks and sugar until thick and light in color. Heat milk and vanilla extract until almost boiling.

    Very slowly add 3/2 of the milk to the egg mixture, while whisking. Add this to the remaining milk and heat gently, stirring continuously until it thickens.
    Crème Anglaise
    Crème Anglaise – the perfect accompaniment to Christmas puddings.
