    Chilli Con Carne Recipe

    Chilli Con Carne Recipe
    Ingredients:
    • 60 ml oil
    • 2 onions, chopped
    • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
    • 300 grams lean beef mince
    • 1 can chopped tomatoes
    • 5 ml brown sugar
    • 5 dried oregano
    • 3 ml Worcestershire sauce
    • 250 ml beef stock
    • 100 grams soya mince
    • 1 can red kidney beans, drained
    • 2 tomatoes, chopped
    Method:
    Heat oil in a large saucepan and saute onions and garlic until soft. Add beef mince and stir over high heat to brown. Add canned tomatoes, sugar, oregano, cumin, Worcestershire sauce, stock and soya mince. Stir well to combine and bring to the boil. Cover and simmer for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Add beans and chopped tomatoes and simmer for a further five minutes. Season to taste and server wrapped in with spoonfuls of guacamole, cheese and sour cream
