    Eish El Saraya Recipe
    (Serves 8-10)
    Preparation time: 60 minutes
    Ingredients:
    • 1 sliced white bread (800g)
    • 1 1/2 cups sugar syrup
    • 3 cans x 170g Nestle Cream
    • 1/2 cup ground pistachios for garnishing
    • Orange flowers for decoration (optional)
    Method:
    Discard the outer crusts of the bread and use the soft inside portions. Break up the bread into crumbs and bake in an oven tray until toasted.
    Crush toasted bread crumbs and heat in a pan with syrup until mixture's texture becomes golden and firm.
    Divide mixture into two and line a tray with one part. Allow to cool.
    Spread Nestle Cream evenly on the mixture in the tray.
    Spread the remaining part of the mixture on a nylon film and flip on top of the cream.
    Decorate the surface with some Nestle Cream, ground pistachios and orange flowers.

    Preparation of Sugar Syrup:
    Preparation Time: 10 Minutes
    Quantity: 3 Cups
    Preparation:
    Mix 2 1/2 cups of sugar in 1 1/2 cups of water and heat moderately without stirring.
    Increase the heat until the mixture boils.
    When it boils, add a teaspoon of lemon juice. Then, allow mixture to boil slowly until it thickens.
    Add a teaspoon each of rose and orange rose water. Keep the mixture on heat for a few minutes then allow to cool.
